new job new beginnings

whelp- i've got a week down at my new job at payless shoes. so far so good! i really like my coworkers and i'm interacting with customers very well.

on another note, things with zach are better than ever! we've been able to spend a lot more time together and are almost always running on the same wavelength. i am so so so excited for the wedding next june!!

with that said- here is another engagement photo!

i've also started sewing again! nothing big- just little projects. i've also been really interested in matryoshka or nesting dolls. i did a 2x2 painting on birch wood of a matryoshka doll. i've also been hoarding old frames which i also put to use for this project.

i also made these owls for the shower curtain! zach made the drawings and i did the actual crafting of them. :)

hi there. :)

we've gotten even more wedding planning done lately. such as starting save-the-dates! check check check it out!

sooo cute! they are going to be mounted on robin's egg blue cardstock with all of the details printed on the back! love it!

let's see- ah yes! we are getting our engagement pictures taken next weekend! september 10th. they're being done by the fabulous rachel pierson! she took the photo on my 'introduction' blog. it's all going down at the gardens at the IMA. gorgeous. she also agreed to do a small shoot on campus.

all in all, life is pretty good! ...aside from the whole jobless thing. i've been applying at a few different places, but it doesn't really seem like anywhere is hiring. bahh everything will work out. :)

on another note: the kitchen/dining room/ living room are clean! want proof?

also, zach and i are having our engagement party september 18! the theme is FOOD! everyone that's coming has been asked to bring their specialty dish. sound be a tasty evening. :)
